IMMEDIATE Contract - Unix Scripting Consultant

Position: Unix Scripting Consultant

Location: Austin, TX

Duration: 26 weeks (6 months)

Rate: $35.00 /hr. Can bill over 40 hours weekly.

Required Skills:
-Strong Unix Administration, Shell scripting
-SSH Key Management Experience

Years of experience: 5 +

Soft Skills Needed:
-Very self-directed
-Excellent communication skills << READ THIS
-Strong experience managing large numbers of SSH keys

Project Description/Daily Assignment
Detailed Description of Daily Assignment:
-Assist with design and implementation of large-scale deployment and SSH key management tools across Windows, Linux, HPUX, AIX systems. << READ THIS
-Conversion of engineering scripts to use secure protocols.

Detailed Description of needed deliverable:
-SSH key management tools.
-Conversions of scripts from the use of rexec, telnet, rcp, rlogin, etc to the use of SSH, scp, sftp, etc.
