· Need someone perfect:

· KEY SKILL NEEDED here besides Java, J2EE, Spring and JSP is someone who has experience developing/implementing a search capability (like Google) design/architecture.

· Java Developer with Search Development experience…so not just a user of search tools but an actual developer. The resumes will have to CLEARLY indicate exactly their search development experience.

Role Description:

· Participate in development of systems design emphasizing the search requirements of the application

· Coding and designing the search elements of the application

· Perform unit testing and fixes during testing Phase

· Document coding and testing efforts

· Using best practices for development

· Perform unit testing and fixes during testing Phase

· Create/document deployment and operational procedures

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

· 3+ years experience in Java/J2EE development for large-scale enterprise applications

· 1+ years solid experience in with search engine technologies preferably the Google Search Appliance and/or Apache Lucene/Solr

· Experience with Spring, AJAX, XML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, relational databases (preferably Oracle)

· Strong Knowledge of BEA Weblogic, UNIX, Solaris, and Linux

· Ability to plan technical architecture and develop documentation;

· Excellent oral and written communication skills are required;

· 2-3 yrs JSP

· 3+ years experience in Java/J2EE development for large-scale enterprise applications

· 1+ years experience in with search engine technologies preferably the Google Search Appliance and/or Apache Lucene/Solr

· Experience with Spring, AJAX, XML, DHTML,
