Rate: $58/HR

Summary:
Strong Object-Oriented Software Developer with C++ and UNIX expertise to maintain and enhance strategic applications that forecast passenger demand and revenue and participate in determining the best flight schedule for the company

Education/Experience
o Bachelor degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
o Master's degree in computer science or computer engineering is a plus
o Over 8 years of experience required

Skills
o Problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills (Required)
o Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time (Required)
o Strong knowledge of design patterns, and techniques and principles involved in object-oriented software development (Required)
o C++ expertise (Required)
o Knowledge in Java, JMS, C#, and web development (Optional)
o Scrum or other agile methodology (Optional)

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
o Troubleshoot issues with the existing software
o Create new modules on the existing framework
o Code-refactoring to reduce complexity, or to increase performance
