Hyderabad, Jan 19 (PTI) The Andhra Pradesh High Court today stayed arrest TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao's daughter Kavitha, who was charged with instigating people to stop the release of 'Adurs'.
Police had initiated criminal proceedings against Kavitha, President of Telangana Jana Jagruthi, a cultural outfit of TRS, on her statement for allegedly calling upon the TRS activists to prohibit the release of Telugu cinema 'Adurs', in which Jr NTR (grandson of late N T Rama Rao) played lead role.
Kavitha gave the call in attempt to protest against the activities of certain film directors and producers who have been canvassing for "Samaikya Andhra" (United Andhra Pradesh), which is against creation of a separate statehood for Telangana region, police said.
