Description:     Role: Transition and support of existing applications in the development and production environment.

Five years systems and programming, or implementation experience in applications, technical services or financial services.

- Experience with Open systems projects: Java-J2EE, Tomcat, PostgreSQL, Oracle, mySQL, Linux (Ubuntu) and UNIX shell scripts
Understanding of payroll systems a plus.

Requirements:

- Production application processes support (Java applications in Linux environment)

- Contributing to current system and platform analysis, design and development

- Developing the detailed solution or design primarily for mid-sized to large projects

- Writing technical specifications

- Translating technical solutions based on client's needs and feasibility

- Evaluating vendor products and preparing recommendations

- Ensuring solutions are of high quality, high performance, and scalable

- Understanding interrelationships and impact of systems and applications on the enterprise environment

- Participating in project planning, estimating and costing
