Title: SQL Developer/DBA

Position Responsibilities



· Design and implement logical and physical database modeling, and provide database-related solutions to application development team during new releases of the commercial software application
· Diagnose and troubleshoot commercial software application performance issues and execute performance tuning in database, T-SQL, server, and operating system levels
· Plan and deploy enhancements to infrastructure to ensure and/or enhance security of the commercial application
· Analyze, develop and test of complex T-SQL script to meet the client’s requirements
· Installation, configuration and administration of Microsoft SQL Servers
· Perform SQL Server Log shipping and/or Database Mirroring and provide high availability/clustering environment
· Maintain and implement periodic maintenance policies and procedures for SQL administration process


Position will require 40% of time on MS SQL Server 2005 administration and 60% of time with SQL Development. Candidates must have strong experience on both sides
Position Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required
• 5+ years of experience in MS SQL Server administration in a production environment
• Strong database design and programming skills; Must have strong T-SQL programming skills
• Experience with SQL clustered environment
• Experience in SQL Server Replication
• Strong database design and programming skills

Requirements:

• Experience with SQL clustered environment
• Experience in SQL Server Replication
• Microsoft certifications in SQL Server (MCDBA or MCITP) is a plus
