TRS men target another film
HYDERABAD: Telangana activists disrupted the shooting of yet another movie on Tuesday. This time, the film of ace director S S Rajamouli was
targeted. The incident took place at Vikarabad railway station in Ranga Reddy district.
While the shooting of the film 'Maryada Ramanna' was in progress at the railway station, Telangana activists stormed the spot raising 'Jai Telangana' slongans. The film unit decided to pack up following the commotion. Sensing the mood of the activists, the film unit, including the director and the lead actor of the film, Sunil, returned to Hyderabad.
The film was launched in June last year but its shooting schedules went awry during the last two of months of 2009 because of the separate Telangana agitation. Film director
Rajamouli has delivered hits like 'Simhadri' and 'Yamadonga' with Jr NTR and the biggest blockbuster 'Magadheera' with Ram Chandran Tej.
Some TRS activists had disrupted the shooting of 'Golimaar' featuring Roja, at Kukatpally on Monday. At the height of the TRS agitation, belligerant TRS activists had set ablaze the film set of actor Mahesh Babu, also at Vikarabad.
